X 2 6Kg powder fire extinguishers positioned in area of works and 1 hour fire watch to be completed at end of Hot Works.
When using a mixer a 9 Kg powder fire extinguisher is required next to the mixer. Thermal Camera to be used.
(One permit per site per day)
1. Has a risk assessment been carried out?
2. Are operatives trained in the use of equipment?
3. Is Thermal Imaging camera charged and on roof?
4. Has SAFE TO TORCH procedure been approved?
5. Is Area clear of combustible materials?
6. Have the correct type of fire extinguishers been provided?
7. Are extinguishers fully charged and inspected?
8. Are Appropriate Boots, Gloves, Trousers and Long Sleeve Tops been provided and worn?
9. Is the gas hose/Torch fit for use and no sign of damage?
Cambridge Flat Roofing Co Ltd have advised us that hot works and naked flames will be used on this site.
